Retention of Title: Title to goods purchased from Sustainable Sempra shall remain vested in Sustainable Sempra and shall not pass to the buyer until the purchase price for the goods has been paid in full and received by Sustainable Sempra.

Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts regulations), These regulations apply to goods ordered via our website on-line and telephone order service that are delivered by third party carriers. You have the right to cancel the sale within up to 7 working days from receipt of the goods, without penalty and without giving a reason. To allow us to process a refund the following details need to be complied with: The cancellation needs to be in writing via fax or email or in person. The goods must not be damaged, used or soiled and must be in the original packing as sent to you. Such as – they must be in merchantable condition. It will be your responsibility to return the goods at your expense. (We suggest that you insure the goods against transit damage and used a signed for, trackable courier service). We suggest for your own peace of mind to contact us prior to returning any goods; refunds will not be offered for damaged or soiled goods, any such goods are liable to be returned. Special orders, custom puchases or made up orders cannot be returned unless the goods are proved by us to be faulty or unsuitable for purpose.

Restocking Fee. Many of the higher priced new items on sale at Sustainable Sempra are ordered on demand and not kept in permanent stock. When an order has been placed Sustainable Sempra are duty bound to pay the manufacturer or distributer for that order. If that order is then subsequently cancelled Sustainable Sempra will make every attempt to return the item to the manufacturer or place the item with another customer or redistribute it through the dealer network. If neither of those options are possible, then for certain higher value items which are sold at a low frequency, Sustainable Sempra reserve the right to apply a restocking fee of up to 20% of the value of the goods, for the inconvenience and expense of taking that unit into stock.

Damaged in transit goods. When placing orders for goods delivered by carrier we will need to be informed within 3 working days of receiving your parcel in the unlikely event that any transit damage has occurred by telephone or email. Please check your goods at your earliest convenience to ensure that nothing is missing and that the order has been correctly executed. In the unlikey event that damage has occured during transit, you must retain all packaging for possible inspection by the courier company. Failure to keep the packaging may result in a null and void claim for damage.

Part Exchanged goods – Inspection. All part exchanged goods need to be inspected and tested by Sustainable Sempra to make certain that they are exactly as described and therefore satisfy the valuation which they have been given. For this reason, there will always be a short latency period between the submission of part exchanged goods and the delivery of the customer’s purchased goods.

Part Exchanged goods – Valuation. When customers part exchange secondhand equipment to pay for goods they will be asked to describe those goods in detail so that an accurate credit value can be ascertained. The item specification, condition, year of manufacture, included accessories, packaging and provenance will all directly affect that traded-in value. Sustainable Sempra will agree to contra-purchase the item at that value and an invoice shall be drawn up showing the value of the traded in goods within the complete transaction. All parties will be agreement with these figures. When Sustainable Sempra physically receives and inspects the traded in goods, if the item specification, condition, year of manufacture, included accessories, packaging or provenance differ markedly from what was described and agreed to then Sustainable Sempra will have effectively recieved something that they did not agree to purchase at the stated figures and it will undoubtedly be worth less and possibly be more difficult to sell. In such instances Sustainable Sempra reserves the right to refer to the marketplace and calculate the amount by which the item has reduced in value from the initial valuation. This amount will simply equal the change in Sustainable Sempra’s ongoing selling price of the item and the amount which therefore honours the originally agreed figures. Please note that “meeting in the middle” or part contributions to this shortfall will not be acceptable but would represent a loss to Sustainable Sempra. The customer will need to fund this shortfall in full to complete the transaction.

Part Exchanged goods – Faulty goods. Sustainable Sempra does not part exchange faulty goods and does not repair faulty part exchanges on behalf of the customer under any circumstances.

Secondhand goods warranty. All secondhand goods sold at Sustainable Sempra are fully tested in a highly revealing reference system and also undergo a thorough visual inspection. In the unlikely event that you find that an item is faulty or not functioning as described, you have the right to a full refund within 7 days of receipt of goods. After that time, you have up till 3 months from the date of receipt of goods to exercise your return to base warranty where we will have the item repaired or replaced for you.

3 Month return to base warranty. All secondhand items excluding vacuum tubes and cartridges are covered by our own 3 month return to base warranty. Simply return the item to us within 3 months of the date of purchase and we will repair it for you and return it. We suggest that you insure the goods against transit damage and use the proper manufacturers packaging.
